I am Thomas Chow

Fresh out of School of Audio Engineer (SAE Singapore), my first job in the creative industry was an audio post engineer.

Within a few short months, I went from splicing 8 track tape on a block to splicing with a keyboard and mouse; essentially a 8 track non-linear audio editing PC that cost more than a years salary — that’s cutting edge technology back in the early 90s.

Within a year I build tasks with building a non linear video editing machine, thus I was the video editor and the sound engineer. Those budding years laid my creative foundation open another door for me to which an events and production company wanted me to build them a post production studio and start their in-house post capabilities.

Thus jump started my camera op, to motion graphics to directing and producing corporate films and television commercials. Finally in 1999, I started Soundimage, a production company that would challenge me creatively and grow me as one.

SoundImage Creative is just an extension of myself. I am equally comfortable directing or shooting. audio sweetening or creating motion graphics, producing or photographing. Having a broad range of creative skillsets ultimately allows me to envision the story, from inception to execution.
